Dear Reader,

OwnCostaRica has been in business for over 7 years and have offered
properties exclusively in Costa Rica.  Our business has evolved in such a way
that today we have 1000's of clients and represent our own developments in
Tambor, Costa Rica.  We are not affiliated with any other Costa Rican
property or real estate sales organizations nor do we represent properties
for other developers.

Today it seems that everyone has property for sale in Costa Rica - however
the number of 'sales only' companies that have started well out-number the
amount of new developers in the country.  This clearly shows that many
developers are using multiple sales groups and/or web-based promoters to
sell their properties - which creates aggressive sales competition.

Some of these commission driven promoters use unscrupulous tactics to put
down their competition or in some cases try to associate them (in poor
light) with other non-reputable companies.  We have even seen anonymous
negative posts on the internet that have no apparent purpose other then to
simply mislead or lie to the reader.  This is not the normal case with most
commission driven sales people but there are exceptions.

The internet is a great media but anyone can post anything anonymously.  If
you find any negative information on our company over the internet then
please let us know so that we can address it, legally if need be.

OwnCostaRica only represents our own properties through our sales team or
authorized sales representatives and we are not affiliated to any other
group or organization in Costa Rica.  The only exception to this rule is
located under our 'Contact Us' section called 'Income Property' in which we
help promote local (Tambor Area) businesses and potential income
opportunities to our clients that are considering living here most of the
year.

Our principal method of informing people about Costa Rica and our company is
informational seminars.  Additionally we are invited to speak at many
international seminars about our real estate opportunities.
